We’ve been hearing the term “dank tank” a lot lately around the cannabis community. Then finally, we got the chance to meet with the friendly folks at the Dank Tank brand. They were kind enough to provide us with some samples of their premium cannabis SAP.
Dank Tank has been in the game for a while. They’ve had some had time to perfect their process, producing premium CO2 extracted cannabis oils. Dank Tank cannabis oil is sold in pre-filled vape cartridges and branded as cannabis SAP.
Potency & Lab Facts
Unlike other concentrate companies we’ve come across, Dank Tank is upfront about the fact that they use PGs. Dank Tank uses a blend of fine cannabis concentrates along with 99% food-grade Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin (all made in the USA). These additives give their vape oils great consistency and a noticeably smooth, flavorful draw.
Most Dank Tank oils typically test at 25-40% THC. Since their menu of strain selections is quite large, there’s plenty of options to find the strain type and THC potency that suits you best.

Our Experience
We got a hold of three different strains of Dank Tank cartridges. First we tried the 1000 mg (1 gram) Bubba Kush cartridge. At first glance, the oil was a bit thick, dark and grainy. The oil was not as clear as other cannabis oils we’ve tried like W Vapes, Green Pen, or Pure Vape.
With every single cartridge we tried, the first few drags always produced a sizzling/crackling sound as the oil vaped surprisingly smooth and formed some nice clouds. The Bubba Kush and Durban Poison cartridges left behind an interestingly sweet, almost buttery aftertaste – reminding us of buttered popcorn. The high effect that these cartridges induced was quite pleasant – soothing us into a mellow and relaxing state.
