Our Experience
While there are plenty of grinders on the market, the GR8TR is one of our favorites for its versatility and performance.
The multi-chamber jar body model is a bit too large for easy carry, but it performs so damn well. The teeth on the grinder plates are super sharp and it grinds up your buds with very little friction. Shredding your flowers with this thing is buttery smooth and takes just a few turns of the wrist.
The coarse plate makes an excellent grind for rolling joints. The finer grind plate works well for packing bowls in dry herb vaporizers. A finer grind increases surface area and allows the bud to vape more evenly in a vape’s heating chamber.
The stainless steel mesh screen and pollen catcher works really well. There’s even an option to swap different size mesh screens depending on the size of resin you want to trap – this is a first!
The grinder can also be reconfigured into a storage puck if you want to carry it in your pocket or remove the pollen compartment.
The small, two-piece single chamber Kannastor grinder is the perfect size to carry with you everywhere. This model also has really sharp teeth and is great at shredding flowers. It’s plain and simple – also a lot cheaper!
