DabTech Duvo X Editor choice
Dr. Dabber Boost EVO e-rig
Detailed E-rig Comparison
The market for concentrate vaporizers and e-rigs for dabbing is evolving quickly. New and improved models are coming out all the time.
Two of the most popular vaporizers on the market today are the DabTech Duvo X and the Dr. Dabber Boost Evo.
Both of these vaporizers are designed for use with concentrates, and both offer a range of features and benefits that make them stand out from the competition.
In this review, we will take a detailed look at both the DabTech Duvo X and the Dr. Dabber Boost Evo, comparing their design, build quality, heating element and temperature control, battery life and charging, accessories, vapor quality, and price.
Design and Build Quality
Both the DabTech Duvo X and the Dr. Dabber Boost Evo feature sleek and modern designs, with durable aluminum bodies that are lightweight and easy to handle.
The Boost Evo comes with an advanced bubbler with a curved neck on the mouthpiece for comfort which attaches to the base with a magnetic attachment. It features a unique airflow carb release valve for easy control. You don’t need a carb cap with this design. It also features a deep dish atomizer allowing for large size dabs.
The Boost EVO looks more flashy as it has cool neon lights that make it low. It looks really cool when powering on in the dark.
Dr. Dabber Boost EVO e-rig
The Duvo X, on the other hand, features a slick profile and more closely resembles the Puffco Peak with its cone shaped bubbler.
It also features a built-in aluminum carb cap and a 3D atomizer that heats on all sides, which helps to ensure even heating and smooth vapor production. No wax is lost by sticking to the sides of the dish as it will all melt and vaporizer. While the dish is not as tall, it is quite wide and is also capable of allowing sizable dabs.

Battery Life and Charging
The DabTech Duvo X features a 3150mAh battery that provides up to around 50 cycles on a single charge, while the Dr. Dabber Boost Evo battery provides around 50-60 cycles as well.
Both vaporizers feature USB-C charging ports for fast and efficient charging and will reach a full charge in about 1-2 hours.
The Boost Evo gets the slight edge as it uses pass-through charging (which means you can use the vape while it’s plugged in) while the Dabtech Duvo X does not.
Heating Element and Temperature Control
Both vaporizers feature powerful heating elements that are capable of reaching high temperatures.
The DabTech Duvo X can reach temperatures up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit, while the Dr. Dabber Boost Evo can reach temperatures up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit.
However, the Duvo X’s 3D atomizer that heats on all sides may provide more even heating than the Boost Evo’s atomizers.
Both vaporizers also feature a range of temperature settings, which can be adjusted using the simple one-button operation. Both heat very fast and will reach the desired temperature in about 10 seconds.
The Duvo gets a slight edge as it has manual mode allow you to hold the power on for the length of your hit.
Included and Premium Accessories
Both vaporizers come with a range of high-quality accessories, including glass bubblers, two atomizers, dab tools, USB-C charging cables, and protective carrying cases.
The Duvo X includes replacement parts and a cleaning kit while the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO does not.
However, Dr. Dabber offers additional accessories if you want to upgrade your glass beyond the standard bubbler that’s included.
Price and Affordability
At the time of writing this, the DabTech Duvo X is priced at $150.00, while the Dr. Dabber Boost Evo is priced at $299.95
For the level of performance and usability, the Dabtech Duvo X gets the edge as the more budget-friendly option. The Duvo X also uses replaceable atomizers which are significantly cheaper to replace than the atomizers on the Boost EVO.
